Manfred Glider

Manfred Radius started flying sailplanes at the age of 17 in Germany.  In the late 1970’s, Manfred competed in the prestigious German Glider Aerobatic Championships.  Later he would go on to compete in the first World Championship.  Manfred later turned to air shows and quickly became one of the top professionals with his sailplane demonstrations.  Manfred has both a daytime and nighttime performance.  His daytime performance known as “The Ultimate”, has been enjoyed by spectators across North America and Australia.  Manfred makes the act very elegant and graceful with the addition of classical music during the act which is a stark contrast to the noisy performances of the power planes.  The Night Delight act has been performed since 1990 and has special effects on both wing tips.
